Find it. Check it. Fix it.
Enter a public website URL to inspect its server-delivered HTML and discover icon declarations. The check also probes the conventional /favicon.ico path. It cannot see client-injected markup or guarantee Google indexing. If a site blocks automated requests, paste its HTML locally instead.
Enter the full HTTPS URL of your website, or switch to Paste HTML.
Review declared icons, advertised sizes, manifest links, and available HTTP responses.
Open the original files, fix missing tags, and recheck. Use the generator if you need a complete replacement pack.
Give your icon a home.
Upload your files to your website’s public directory, then add the link tags inside your HTML head.

Open toolDoes a passing check guarantee a Google favicon?+
No. The checker inspects declarations and HTTP availability. Google makes its own display decisions and must be able to crawl your home page and icon.
Why does the URL check fail on some websites?+
Bot protection, authentication, unsupported content, timeouts, and network restrictions can prevent a fetch. Paste the page source for an offline declaration check.
Are reported dimensions verified image dimensions?+
Sizes are the values declared in HTML. The checker does not decode remote image pixels or execute the website’s JavaScript. It labels this limitation in its results.
Little tools run on a little kindness.
